(Goldsithney Ward) and Vice Chairman David Sharp (Perranuthnoe Ward).
The repair to the bus shelter at St Pirans hall had now been completed.
The contractor for grass cutting at St Pirans Hall was currently in hospital, the clerk will arrange another grounds care contractor to cut grass in his absence hopefully this will be a temporary measure. Clerk advised the council that there had been an invasive plant at the Cemetery but that PT grounds care had dealt with it. I continue to consult with numerous officers and organisations on issues within the Parish and am pleased to say that James Hardy our Community Link Officer has been confirmed in post following a significant amount of changes at Cornwall Council and indeed at Cormac Highways.
Neighbourhood Development Plan.
The neighbourhood development plan started life way back in 2015 with a questionnaire sent to every household on what residents wanted for the Parish.
There have been a number of Public consultations on this over the years and a steering group of residents and Cllrs was established to oversee its progress, this is chaired by Mr Andy Moore.
The Parish Council maintain the ultimate ownership of this documentation.
Each step was reported to the PC and approved. External consultants conducted Landscape assessments and mapping.
The requirements for the submission of the documents have now been completed and are with Cornwall Council for Reg 16 consultation.
All the documents are available on the Parish Council website and the ourPerran website, any resident who wishes to see a hard copy can contact the Parish Clerk.
Planning continues to take up a great deal of time and despite repeated requests applicants or their representatives rarely take the opportunity to talk with the PC in the first instance. I would like to thank those who do make contact and work with us to find a mutually agreed outcome
The younger members of the Parish and their parents have established a group looking at the design and costing etc for a skateboard facility. This is supported by the Parish Council, the village hall committee, our local Cornwall Councillor and Derek Thomas our local MP.
